This list is a good start, but it lacks one huge ‘detail’ : proofs

And by proofs, I mean hard data, showing the ROI, or how many processes would be facilitated (but there you need an example to prove what you say), …

Some CEOs might see the advantage of their people collaborating better, but most of them will still see this as waste of time!

I sold my ex-boss on installing a wiki inside the company, but I can tell you that it took months of lobbying.

What helped was the fact that the wiki was THE perfect solution for a collegue who had been tasked to build a knowledge base …

Still, the only reason why he allowed me to go on with this project is that I had found a free and easy to use wiki solution so that it wouldn’t cost a penny and IT wouldn’t have to do the administration!
